Allen Returns to Action at Rocket
Chase Allen entered a single event over the weekend with a Saturday night trip to Rocket Raceway Park (Petty, Texas) for a $10,000-to-win United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) event.
Unfortunately for Allen, as has been the case throughout the first half of this season, luck wasn't on his side. With 87 entries on hand, Chase was disqualified from his qualifying lap due to a tech infraction. He charged from the 11th-starting spot in his heat race to a fourth-place finish, which left him just short of locking into the feature.
He had high hopes from the pole position in his B-Main, but was forced to scratch with mechanical issues as his night ended early.
