Masters looms for USMTS

By USMTS PR (New Richmond, WI) -- The undisputed best of the best in the world of dirt track racing converge on the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 11-13, when the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey's headlines the 21st running of The Masters along with CLS Late Models and USRA Late Models.

Featuring one of the largest event purses on the schedule, this year's crown jewel will once again feature CLS Late Models sharing the spotlight and competing for the same big paydays as the USMTS Modifieds all three days. USRA Late Models will also run a complete program each night.

The mega-event kicks off with a pair of $3,000-to-win shows for the USMTS Modifieds and CLS Late Models on Thursday. USRA Late Models race for $400 to win. Tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for students (6-16) and free for kids ages 5 and under. Pit passes are $35.

A $5,000 top prize is up for grabs in USMTS Modifieds and CLS Late Models on Friday. USRA Late Models race for $600 to win. Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for students (6-16) and free for kids ages 5 and under. Pit passes are $40.

It all leads up to Saturday's ferocious finale which offers $10,000 to the winner of both the USMTS Modified and CLS Late Model main events. USRA Late Models race for $1,000 to win. Tickets are $35 for adults, $17 for students (6-16) and free for kids ages 5 and under. Pit passes are $45.

Reduced two- or three-day advance tickets are available by calling 612-363-0479 if ordered at least two days before the event. Limited lower ramp parking spots are available for $30 per vehicle and are available on a first-come, first-parked each day.

The pit gate opens at 2 p.m., grandstands open at 5, hot laps begin at 6:30 and racing gets underway at 7 p.m. each day.
