I-35 Speedway Racing Friday and Saturday
I-35 Speedway is racing this Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9! Racing returns to the legendary speedway with the McCarthy Auto Group two day season opener! Friday night, May 8th will feature the E-Mods, Sport Compacts, Pure Stocks, and Show-Me Vintage Racers. Saturday, May 9th will feature USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, and the Midwest Limited Late Models. Pit gates open at 3 P.M. each day.
We know you want to catch all the action so here are the schedules:
- Friday, May 8: Pit Gates open at 3:00 P.M., Grandstand gates open at 5:30 P.M, Drivers meeting at 6:45 P.M. (Facebook Live), Hot Laps immediately after Driver's meeting, with racing starting at 7:45 P.M.
- Saturday, May 9: Pit Gates open at 3:00 P.M., Grandstand gates open at 4:00 P.M., Drivers meeting at 6:00 P.M. (Facebook Live), Hot Laps immediately after Driver's meeting, with racing starting at 7:00 P.M.
Everyone must follow the CDC guidelines, if you are sick, please stay home. Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer which will be placed throughout the facility. Wearing a mask is encouraged, please bring your personal protective equipment (PPE) with you. When in lines, please do not crowd, we must maintain the 6 foot social distancing requirements.
