I grew up watching dirt track racing close to home in San Angelo, Tx! I was born and raised in Ballinger, Tx. Never raced until I bought my first dirt track car at 32 years of age! First ever race was at Shady Oaks Speedway in the bomber division! Raced bombers for three years then forced into Limited Modified racing because my mechanic Larry Louden no longer wanted to work over a car with fenders! In 2004 I won I-37 Turkey Trot and also finished second in The Texas Grand that year! I haven’t had any notable wins in the Sport Mod but fully enjoy the class and competition. I will be racing Cotton Bowl Speedway in 2020 and hope to make most of the races! Come out and look for the Bumble Bee #79!
